London - 26/11/09
UBIFRANCE, the French agency for international business development, will showcase French companies’ environmentally friendly technology on the French Pavilion at the Bright Green exhibition, which is being held in Copenhagen at the same time as the 15th United Nations conference on climate change (COP15). Bright Green will take place from 12 to 13 December. The changes in the Earth’s climate that have taken place since the Kyoto protocol was negotiated in 1997 prove that a new agreement is essential. For this reason, political leaders, business executives, NGO representatives and journalists from over 200 countries will be meeting in Copenhagen (Denmark) for two weeks, between 7 and 18 December, to discuss climate change and its impact on the Earth´s future. This meeting is known as the 15th United Nations conference on climate change (COP15). Bright Green is the only event taking place during COP15 that is dedicated to highlighting the action of companies, promoting the latest products and technology developed to combat global warming. The exhibition combines a professional trade fair with activities for the general public, and will feature a large number of national pavilions. The French Pavilion will showcase both innovative SMEs and leading companies at Stand 106. Bright Green will take place in Copenhagen from 12 to 13 December 2009, alongside COP15.
