Dalcans to bring its 100% Design to London in September 2009

Dalcans of France, a specialist in audiovisual design, will attend the 100% Design show, to be held in London from 24 to 27 September 2009, as part of the French Pavilion (booth K30). Visitors to the trade show will be able to discover Dalcans’ innovative audiovisual installations, as well as its range of designer TV furniture. The company is due to open a London office in September 2009.

Dalcans specialises in audiovisual design, as well as in display technology as applied to interior-design projects. It provides its customers with innovative venue staging and brand-promotion solutions using moving pictures, delivering products that are aesthetic, adaptable, all-encompassing and – increasingly – interactive.

Interior designers are making use of moving images in order to add a new artistic dimension to projects. From office buildings to hotels, restaurants and spas, Dalcans can use corporate images to provide any area with a feel that is more artistic than commercial.

Dalcans’ Motion Design technology fully integrates the display medium into the design of the space, ensuring that the display screen becomes an integral part of the interior. Whether the content on display is interactive or passive, Dalcans manages every aspect of the audiovisual technology, artfully concealing the screen within the room, while showing moving images that heighten the experience of visitors, emphasise the architect’s artistic vision, and spotlight the brand’s advertising message.

From basic audiovisual integration to venue staging, through to the production of images, Dalcans manages all steps of the process. Firstly, the company carries out preliminary studies (scenario, modelling, graphics and styling). Next, Dalcans manages the design and modelling stage (scheduling and real-life solution testing). Then, Dalcans handles the integration of the project (cabling, materials and media selection, as well as maintenance) and, finally, the production stage (picture creation and configuration, programming, testing and training).

Dalcans has worked with prestigious architects on many projects across the world. Whether working with international groups, restaurants or hotels, Dalcans demonstrates the creative and technical ability it masters to give venues a more attractive feel and design through the use of moving images.

Dalcans’ recent clients have included Orange, Krafts Jacobs Suchard, Deloitte, Boehringer, Sodexo, La Mamounia, SFR and the Costes Group. Numerous highly renowned architects have worked with Dalcans, including Jacques Garcia, Didier Gomez, Eric Gizard, JM Wilmotte and Patrick Norguet.

Dalcans’ audiovisual productions, which combine leading-edge technology and innovative design, not only seek to express an effective advertising message, but also to assist in the creation of an ambience packed with dreams and emotions.

Dalcans is currently developing its activities in the integrated TV furniture sector under the name DalcansDesign, reflecting the growing demand from architects for concealed technology. Many interior designers now use TV furniture as a pure design item, in the same way that a lighting fixture or a sofa can be, and Dalcans’ products are ideally suited to this approach.
